January 20, 2010 - During a large part of 2010 Daniel Witthaus will undertaking a national challenging homophobia tour of regional Australia and recording what life is like for LGBT people in rural Australia.

The Tour will be launched in his hometown, Geelong, in the week starting 22nd February. Daniel will travel clockwise around Australia to deliver workshops and training, interview locals and get a snapshot of what life is like across regional Australia for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people. Although the scale of the tour and it's logistics is at times overwhelmed Daniel is looking forward tro start in several weeks..

On this website you'll be able to keep up to date about both the national tour and his book, Beyond 'That's So Gay': Challenging Homophobia in Australian Schools. The book will be published by Hawker Brownlow Education. There is a detailed, downloadable tour calendar, ideas on how best to get involved and other promotional materials. Even more details about how to register in local areas will come online at the start of February.
