ILGA report on social, political and health-specific topics for lesbian and bisexual women
This ILGA (International Lesbian & Gay Association) report contains a wide range of information from health-specific topics, such as HIV/AIDS, breast and gynecological cancer, sexually transmitted diseases and infections and mental health problems. It addresses also the political and social problems of forced marriages, rape and domestic violence. Worthwhile reading is an interview with the UN Health rapporteur, Paul Hunt, in which he calls for information about women's health from civil society organizations and encourages them to deal with UN and other relevant agencies. Most important is the list of materials provided by local organizations, which can be found at the of each article, including references to their web sites.
